Gary, Indiana: America's Worst All Time Ghetto


Gary represents a one industry economy which ended due to extenuating world events. The OPEC Oil Crisis culminating in the end of Global US Steel industry along the steel belt along the Appalachian Steel Belt shutting down.
Now, China remains the leading world Steel manufacturer with America a distant fourth which remains a domestic industry rather than in international exporter and more importantly a job generating industry for Gary, Indiana.
Paradoxically, USA is the largest importer of Steel in the world with Canada accounting for most of the American imported Steel. Whereas, once Gary would be exporting Steel along the Michican Lake to Canada, as it turns out a half century later, it is the opposite direction. This may be attributed to the uncompetiveness of the American Steel manufacturing industry which enjoyed a high quality of life with high standards of living for a period during and after World War Two. Many Tanks, and Warships were built then with a War economy.
Now Steel manufacturing is no longer churning out masses of Destroyers, Sherman Tanks, and Battleships. Gary is no longer needed for a World War. The Ukrainian War has helped stimulate the military industrial complex and will create local jobs but unfortunately not for Gary. Its a sad story of time and place and the relevance of a one industry City during a particular time in American History. War was good for the Town then.....Not anymore, nor are America churning out Warships as they used to anymore. War has become much more high tech without needing large cumbersome Warships and tanks anymore.
Nanotechnology and semiconductors have shrunk the battlespace and the warfighting machines from AI Drones and Robotics to stealth warfighting robotics Large Steel machines are not needed, too costly, and combat ineffective in the modern battlespace now and well into the future. Gary was a World War Two era Town and single industry town. Only great legacy from the Town and its historic legacy was MJ and the Janet and the Jackson Five for the whole world to remember Gary, Indiana. Cheers.

November 21st 2024 Oreshnik Medium Range Hypersonic missile with MIRVs. The Russian Nuclear Doctrine. Tim Tufuga.

The precursor warning by President Putin of the amended nuclear doctrine that preempted the RS 26 ICBM dummy warheads, very accurate strike, on an industrial site, within Dnipro City, Ukraine, by the Russian Rocket Force. President Putin has updated the Global Media that the ICBM was not an ICBM but a new Hypersonic missile called the Oreshnik medium range Hypersonic missile. However, there were MIRVs dispersed from the alleged Oreshnik medium range hypersonic missile which would be considered very advanced comparable to any previous Hypersonic missile systems which do not have MIRVs. Therefore, the Oreshnik is the first non-ICBM armed with MIRVs The Nuclear Doctrine is clearly announced here, some weeks ago in 2024.
