Niger, Mali and the Francafrique Independence has seen the French ousted from the African Continent, the Americans following the French out of Africa. In New Caledonia and soon French Polynesia, the Decolonisation movement is gaining momentum. In the meantime, the French President is keen on a fist to cuff in Ukraine against Russia, and thousands of French Foreign Legion Mercenaries have been KIA since 2022. More recently within West Ukraine NATO encampments and now along Kharkov Oblast and more directly within Chasiv Yar where the French have not done well at all against the Russians. The Melanesian Kanaka and the Tahitians on the other hand are less difficult for the French authorities because they dont have artillery, Thermobaric munitions, cluster munitions, FAB 1500s, FAB 500s AGMs from SU 25s, SU 27s, and KA 52 Attack Helicopters, or the IFVs and T72s, the T80s and T90s MBTs, and the FPV Drones in the hundreds swarming down on the French Troops by the Russians. Yeah, the Melanesians and Polynesians are a hell a lot easier to beat up and imprison than fighting the Russians and the Africans, also with Russia support in Francafrique. But, Kanakas and Tahitians on the other hand are easily conquered subjugated and ruled with an iron fist by the French Macron Vichy regime in 2024. We all know how this will end. Like the fate of Oscar Temaru, the outcome seems very dire for the Tahitians and especially for the hapless New Caledonian Melanesian Kanakas. The Melanesian Kanaka will be singled out, leaders isolated and subjected to extreme prejudice treatment, not unlike the Ukrainian SBU and their treatment of the Donbass separatistis before the Russians interjected their Russian Ethnic Cleansing of the Donbass Region since 2014. The Melanesians will be hardpressed to emulate the DPR and LPR Separatists who sought help from their Cultural Bretherens right next door with the Russians. The Melanesians would be hoping to have some divine intervention from a Bigger than France Big Brother to liberate them, like the DPR and LPR who would be fortunate to have RUSSIA right next door to help them.

New Caledonia can not look for a Big Brother assistance from any other Pacific Island Nation vouching for their Indpenendence since all neighbouring Melanesian Soveriegn Nations are militarily small and insignificant compared to the French Military strength. So no help from either Fiji or Papua New Guinea. Tonga military is barely a company size and Samoa only has a Police Force. Again no help from the sparsely populated Pacific Region against European Colonialism. Papua New Guinea is a a Commonwealth Nation whose Head of State like the Anglophone Nations of Australia and New Zealand is yet another European Colonial power Great Britain and King Charles III as the Head of State of the Commonwealth of Nations still a bit more cohesive than the French Colonial territories.

The New Caledonia Independence Movement is not a new phenomena it has been a very long attempt at decolonisation since the end of World War Two as similar to the decolonisation of French IndoChina including Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh. The Vietnam War was after the French were forced out of Indochina by the locals and the Americans and ANZAC wanted to have a say in the decolonisation process with an attempt of preserving the sorverignty of South Vietnam. We all know how this war ended.

New Caledonia on the other hand, lacks a population base to form a strong Independence Militia Force, like the Vietcong, or Niger with Russian backing. New Caledonia relies on the Melanesian Group to vouch for their Indpendence. The Melanesian Islands on the other hand are economically and militarily powerless to dare to challenge the Colonial might of France. So where do the Kanaka turn to? The question seems to look squarely at China. However, unlike North Korea and Vietnam, New Caledonia is too far logistically to deploy the Three Chinese Carrier Strike Groups that would undountedly THUMP the Be Jesus out of the Charles De Gaulle Carrier Strike Group and send the French out of the South Pacific like a spanked Dog with its tail between its legs. But, the Chinese arent keen on thumping France out of the Pacific Region. The stakes are too high and will cost the Chinese Belt and Road initiative infrastuctures and EU Free Trade agreements for the cost of a mere Pacific Island Nation.

Which brings us back to the difficulty of Pacific Island Decolonisation. Africa, Asia and soon the Pacific may undergo the process of Getting Rid of the last remaining European Colonial Powers. This will be difficult but in the next half century, the Chinese Blue Water Fleet may decide to make their Blue Water Super Carrier Strike Groups worth their weight in Gold by liberating the Pacific Region from European Colonialism once and for all. This seems to be an expectant dream for the New Caledonian Kanaka peoples and further on, the Polynesians of Tahiti within French Polynesia who will soon realise this de-Francophille decolonisation of the Pacific Islands forever.
