June 6th 2024 basketball at the Logan Metro Sports Centre. 80 years since D-Day.

I commemorate 80 years of D-Day landing by the Allies to liberate Europe from the Vichy French Nazis, the Germany Third Reich Nazis, the Ukrainian Galicia Waffen SS Division and the Stepan Bandera Nazis back on June 6th, 1944.

Paradoxically, 80 years later, NATO with their military equipment and Mercenaries, have returned to the Russian Steppes rekindling the Nazi Operation Barbarossa from February, 1942-45, the Great War campaign against the Soviet Union forces, would remind us of whose side Russia was on then and who the Allies were fighting against then. Today, however, the descendants of the NAZI Germans have returned to Ukraine in an attempt to defeat Russia in what can only be described as a Operation Barbarossa Redux. The enemy is still the same. Except the Anglo Americans are now siding with the Ukrainian Banderites with their Nazi Salutes and Swastika emblems on Ukrainian Flags, and the telltale Iron Cross as the Ukrainian National Military monogram on all Ukrainian Military equipment as well as the Trident.

On June 6th, 2024. I commemorate the occassion at the Logan Metro Indoor Sports Centre, here in Logan City, South East Queensland, Australia, and pay my respects to those courageous men and women who fought against the vileness of NAZISM and FASCISM and defeated the third Reich.

I also lament the loss of direction by the descendants of these Allies who now have betrayed the millions of lives lost in combat to liberate the world from the NAZI menace only for NATO to manifest itself as a FASCIST Fourth Reich regime threatening the ethnic Russians of the Donbass and Crimea from Ukrainian Neo Nazi extermination and persecution since 2014. The Russian Special military operation has been, in essence, the liberation of the Ethnic and Cultural Russian people from Nationalist persecution from the Ukrainian SBU and authoritarianism wiping out their Russian cultural identity to be assimilated into Ukrainian Nationalism. This would include the banning of the Russian language and education regarding the Russian history, including the history of the Great War, for all the local Russident residents of the Donbass and Crimean region until the September 2022 Referendum when the people of the Donbass and Crimea democratically voted to amalgamate into the Russian Federation. The Russian Duma would later on ratify the inclusion of the former Ukrainian Oblasts into the Russian Federation, not in defiance of International Rule of Law, but, in recognising the will of the people who live in the region, namely, the indigenous RUSSIAN People. In the end, it is all about the people, and not the geopolitical territory that determines the ultimate winner even in a trial by combat, the Russians will eventually reclaim what culturally and historically is theirs, the Donbass and Crimea.

Again, with respect to the memory of the courageous and honourable Allies of yesteryear and for the Russians who bravely fought and defeated the Nazis during the Great War, the 80th anniversary of D-Day, reminds the world why the United Nations was established and why the permanent Five members of the United Nations Security Council remain the same victors over Nazism from World War Two.

Today, people have forgotten the lessons learnt from history. But, for those brave enough and have learnt from history, we are thankful for their courage and sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms we cherish today.
