Indian Government continues to procure Russian made weapons despite also being a member of QUAD and Indus-X. By Tim Tufuga

The Indian Military have about faced their Indus-X commitment with their QUAD military alliance by continuing their procurement of Russian made weapons systems.

Most recent procurement include the Mango ASPDS anti tank missile system, and the thousands of AK 203 ARs.
The recent SCO economic Bloc in Astana had morphed into a Military Alliance with India seemingly standoffish in their conditional ratification of the SCO Military Alliance due to their Indus-X and QUAD Military commitment with their Anglo American Partners and as a member of CHOGM.
India continued the domestic manufacturing of their joint Russo-Indian designed Brahmos Supersonic missile which has been procured by the Philippines Military to be emplaced alongside their Western coastline facing the First Island Chain of containment against the Chinese or the Chinese Ten Dash Line, which would include the Thomas Shoal disputed Island currently a flashpoint for the Chinese and Philippines Coast Guard Ships with water bombing and Sailors on skiffs, in knife and long weapon welding skirmishes in recent weeks and days.
The Indian SCO and BRICS membership is always considered tenuous and a fly in the ointment for BRICS and SCO with their janus faced commitments to Anglophone Friends like America and Britain, but, Russia and China are well informed of the Indian position in GeoStrategic Politics.
