Samoan Prime Minister Chinese Assimilation gaffe corrected. Tim Tufuga

25% of Samoan population are Chinese Samoans, and they are NOT ASSIMILATED....they are integrated with the Samoan community as Samoans. That must be CLEARLY explained. Samoa is not Ukraine, it is not a NAZI regime where they force people to be Ukrainian or DIE. Samoans respect their Chinese people who have integrated well with the Samoans and have mixed marriages and retain their Chinese culture within Samoan Society. Samoan Chinese are proud of their Chinese heritage as well as their Samoan cultural identity. The late Chang Mow, at his Taufusi Department Store, as the former Burns Phillips Building, has Chinese characters on his Department Store depicting his Chinese cultural heritage. Most of the major Samoan supermarkets are part of Chinese franchises in Samoa. Businesses in Samoa are primarily run and owned by Chinese Samoans. On a geopolitical and strategic point of view. CHINA values Samoa from a trade route and Blue Water military stand point. BRICS requires China to cross the Pacific to their Global South Partners within Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. Samoa is crucial as a replenishment port of call for Chinese Cargo Ships and the future Chinese Military Blue Water Fleets escorting their Cargo Trade shipping interests between Central and South America, via Samoa. The Chinese Blue Water Fleet will soon be much larger and more powerful than the US within the next half century. Whilst the Americans are currently the preimminent superpower for the past 80 years, the Chinese is fast catching up in military power. 1. The Chinese Naval vessels construction is five times faster than the US. 2. The Chinese missile technology is more advanced than the US and NATO forces. This includes hypersonic missiles and soon in ICBMs and SLBMs 3. The Chinese and Russian military strength is increasing with the current Ukrainian war likely to escalate to a global conflict with Sino-Russo nuclear power being more formidable than the combined NATO, AUKUS, AND QUAD, military forces combined. 4. BRICS is currently setting up their MBridge alternative digital currency to challenge the Bretton Woods system directly. This includes the BRICS currency which was revealed at the Kazaan BRICS Summit in Russia over a month ago. 5. Military brinkmanship within the South China Sea region will commit AUKUS to a regional war with China versus Philippines and Taiwan, including Japan, South Korea, Philippines Australia, New Zealand, France Germany, Britain, and USA. This will not end well for either side and especially for AUKUS, QUAD and NATO simply due to China being China in Asia. The Three Island Chain of containment remains very rigid and solid for the time being. But, in the next decade the Chinese Blue Water Fleet will be more powerful and difficult to contain that eventually the US and Britain and European powers will be FORCED out of the region once and for all. This will include the South Pacific Region. 6. Samoa will be considered crucial in the immediate future for the main reason that Samoa is not a military power and thus Samoa unlike Tonga and Fiji has NEVER Participated in joint military exercises nor has Samoa committed to any military alliance to any military power anywhere. Samoa can not be obligated to be loyal to the FIVE EYES and to the military alliances anywhere, including the US, Britain or New Zealand and Australia, UNLESS, the Samoa dual citizens serves within these respective Nations intelligence services, law enforcement services or Military services....OBVIOUSLY. But, as Samoans as Citizens of the Independent State of Samoa, the Samoans are not committed militarily nor in intelligence sharing with any Nation. This absolves Samoa for any duplicitous issues with any regional and global trading, economic and political partners. In saying that, apart from the assimilation gaffe, Samoa is in a very favourable relationship with China, as is Samoa's favourable relationship with their regional partners and other global partners. Samoa remains a non aligned partner with the world, as a UN member, a member of CHOGM and the Pacific Forum with friendly bilateral relations with most and if not all Nations.
